What does this mean? That Bond was an efficient killer, which justifies his having a license to kill, therefore making him more of a real spy than he was as charming as the Mad Hatter. You couldn’t have a Bond film without the women. And women have swallowed this version hook, line, and sinker. Tight abdomens really hit it off with the female population, rather than the sly, cool, ladies man of old. With the immergence of a new image so do the weapons at Bond’s disposal.

One would usually see a Walter PPK on the posters on every Bond film made. In the Quantum of Solace poster, you see Bond in the traditional tuxedo wielding a sub machine gun which only seems logical. A lone spy going up against more than just a handful army of henchmen is just like the old school James Bond we use to know. The sheer number of villains would scare anyone in his right mind; it’s not simply possible for one man to go up against so many people with just a pistol.

Years ago, the old Bond didn’t have much of a body to begin with. He was not as massive as Daniel Craig, simply because they didn’t have knowledge or the technology to achieve such mass in those days. With the image that Craig presents to us, the audience, we see a physique that can actually perform the feats that James Bond is known to make throughout his illustrious career.

Wake Forest vs. Boston College

After winning two straight over Notre Dame and previously ranked Florida State, Boston College may be rightfully upset by not claiming a spot in the Top 25. Last week the Eagles dominated much of the game in Tallahassee as they bested the Seminoles 27-17. The week before, they thoroughly dominated the Fighting Irish, shutting them out at home. It will remain to be seen if a win over a fading Wake Forest team will put them in the polls prior to their last game of the season against Maryland. Perhaps they may want to stay out of the Top 25 when they face the Terrapins who are 4-0 against ranked teams this season.

Either way, they must get past the Demon Deacons before they can state their case. Boston College (7-3, 3-3) has had an inconsistent year this season, especially in the ACC. A lot of that inconsistency can be attributed to their struggling offense, which does rank above 55th in any offensive category and rank 99th in total yards and 100th in passing. Chris Crane has had an uneven year under center for the Eagles by throwing for 1687 yards with 10 touchdowns against 13 interceptions.

Riley Skinner has had a more consistent year for Wake Forest by throwing for 1882 yards with 11 touchdowns and only five interceptions. Last week in Wake Forest’s inexcusable 21-17 loss to last place North Carolina State, Skinner went 21 for 33 for 176 yards with a touchdown and one interception. The Demon Deacons Achilles Heel has been their ground game which has yet to catch on this season by averaging only 211 yards per contest.

Stacey Kent Close Your Eyes Jazz Music CD Review

Miserly Your Eyes is the latest release from Jazz Shooting star Stacey Kent, and I can only think of one in the final analysis to outline this CD… AWESOME!

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Close Your Eyes. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

One of the nicer things about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Jazz isn’t your favorite style you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.

Overall Close Your Eyes is excellent from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Jazz fan. Really sensational from beginning to end.

While this entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 1 - More Than You Know, track 4 - There’s A Lull In My Life, and track 9 - Little White Lies

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore […as in “Stuck On REpeat”] is track 7 - I’m Old Fashioned. This is a great track!

Dubai Tennis Championship Magnets The Top ATP Players

The Dubai Tennis Championship which is one of the International Series Gold began last March 3rd in the city of Dubai in the Combined Arab Emirates. On the other hand, we have the American Andy Roddick who is currently world ranking number six and who recently ended his business relationship with long time Coach Jimmy Connors. Roddick easily cruised in to Dubai’s quarter finals and just yesterday played world number two Rafa Nadal. His victory of 7-6, 6-2 over the Spaniard showed us a more relaxed and focused Roddick who seems to be enjoying his game more than ever. He also took some free time to visit some of Dubai’s landmarks.

The 20-year-old Serbian - Novak Djokovic who was scheduled to first meet Marin Cilic moved to a second round match and played the French Magician Fabrice Santoro for a final score of 6-3, 7-6(3) and the possibility of a third match against Russian Igor Andreev who the Serbian defeated very easily. He now awaits Roddick in what promise to be an extraordinary game.

Two other Spaniard players have also had a good quality journey throughout the tournament. These are top seed number four David Ferrer and unseeded Feliciano Lopez. Against all odds, Lopez managed to breeze through and win over Ferrer who was favourite to move to the next round. It is just amazing how much their game has in common and how strong a player can grow if given the appropriate encouragement.

López then moved to the semi finals and played top seed Russian Davydenko world number five. The Russian who is indeed an intimidated opponent; has over a long period now faced many problems which accuse him of participating in a match-fixing scandal. This situation has indeed distress his play but yet he has something to offer his fellow sport men.

It is clear the city of Dubai will crown a new champion amongst either; Lopez, Djokovic or Roddick. If Djokovic was to win then it will be a guarantee his in on track for a higher ranking position than the one he already has. If Lopez or Roddick were the winners then the sport of tennis will once again show us all there is nothing previously written and there is always a chance predictions can shift at the last minute.

The mother was a single mom who lived at the Harmony Village Shelter on the south side of Chicago.

After being exhausted by negative movies and theatrical plays that contain no substance or assistance for our issues, in 2005 Kenya put the pen to the pad and wrote the play “The Cycle� which was inspired by self realizations of the many cycles that continue hamper us and become passed down from generation to generation.
